Heroes on Horseback is a foundation that is near and dear to our hearts here at The Cobb Group. We are so excited for this upcoming event, so we wanted to share it with you all. 

On October 10th from 10am to 2pm they will be opening the barn for visits. 

Here is how Heroes on Horseback describes the Open House. The Event is simple: drive up, sign-in and receive a special gift on behalf of Heroes. Then you will be directed on a drive- through "safari" of the property where you will see your favorite horses, volunteers and instructors! The drive should take about 30 minutes inside, but there might be a short line outside. Please register by clicking the RSVP below, and pick a one hour time slot for your arrival. ???? New restaurant alert! ????

You’ve most likely been seeing your friends posts with pictures of their delicious looking food from Chez Georges Bistro & Bar. I’ve seen at least 3 in the past few days. French cuisine with a mix of Lowcountry. What could be better — right? They are open for dinner from 4:30 to 10pm on the south end of the island.

I think you need to head there for dinner this week! You deserve a night off of cooking. Disclaimer- The owners are old family friends. Our grandmothers were friends!

So this may not be a new place for a lot of you but it was my first time and I really loved it! The entire experience of going to Hilton Head Social Bakery is worth a million dollars. As you stroll to get your perfect cup of coffee and pastry, you get to discover the beautiful Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina. Then, when you enter this waterfront bakery you will be awed by all the delicious finds! I’m not kidding when I say that you’re going to want one of everything! Here is what I bought, and they were both so, so good.

You just have to go to The Sandbar Beach Eats down at Coligny. The food is delicious, and the service is so friendly. Now that it’s summertime, you can enjoy sitting on the patio and listening to live music most nights.

I don’t even know where to begin on what menu item is the best. There are so many. However, when we went there for the first time we were told to try the steak tacos. “They are the best” — they said (and you know that “they” are always right!!!). Who would ignore a taco recommendation anyway? No one! Let me just say…that recommendation was the best thing that happened to us! We tried both the steak and fish tacos and love them both. There is just something magical about the combination of the amazing sauce and crunchy yet still soft…

We just wanted to give a shout out to one of our local favorites - Delisheeyo! You’ve got to stop in and give them a try. Eating healthy has never been so easy and good. They offer a variety of food that is all fresh and often times grown in their garden. They have smoothies and a juice bar (even a Detox Smoothie if you need it after the holidays).

If you’re short on time, you can easily order online and pick it up or grab a fresh pressed juice from the Grab and Go counter. However, if you have the time…stay and enjoy the little cottage and all the friendly people. Make sure you save room for a tart frozen yogurt.

There’s a whole lot of people who’ve been waiting for the Starbucks at Sea Turtle Plaza to open, and the time has finally come! Have you been there yet? They did a great job with it. It’s really nice. The seating and workstation areas are accommodating with lots of power stations. The best part…the staff are friendly and inviting.

Oh and the barista talked me into trying the Cold Brew Irish cream coffee. Delicious!
