Pricing your merchandise right is crucial when you're having a yard sale. If you set the prices too high, your stuff won't sell. If your prices are too low, you lose money you could have made. To make the process a little easier, here are a few dos and don'ts of garage sale pricing.

    • Price everything before the sale starts.
    • Price each item individually. The only exceptions are groups of like items that are all priced the same, such as books. Place all of these on a table together. Have you seen or at least heard of the viral pasta dish that everyone has been making? It looks delicious right? Here is the recipe if you want to try it yourself. Let us know how you like it!

 

Serves: 4

Ingredients
1 box of your favorite pasta
8-ounce block of feta cheese
2 cups cherry tomatoes
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon olive oil
3-4 basil leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
lemon zest

Directions

Preheat oven to 415 F. Add cherry tomatoes to a baking dish and add 1/4 cup olive oil, chopped garlic, salt and pepper. Mix together. Add the block of feta cheese to the center of the baking dish. Top with 1 tablespoon olive oil and oregano. Add lemon zest. Bake for 25-30 minutes…
