Before the new year begins, take some time to think about what you want 2021 to look like. Are you looking to jump in full time and commit to your goals? Are you worried you don't know what you're doing? Do you wonder if you can build the business that you've always dreamed of? Write down all your fears. Once they are on paper, they can't have power over you anymore. They are just hurdles to get over!
Those of you who've been working with me know that I wholeheartedly believe this. When you treat people good and with kindness, everyone benefits. There will definitely be times where you will have to advise your clients to do something that benefits them and not you...but you know that's what is right. If you put their best interest first, you will always win.
I'm sure you've seen this before or some version of this recently. I'm not going to hide it, I love every time I see it. I think of someone else and reach out. It doesn't matter if it's our significant other, our children, friend, or a team member, everyone needs to hear these things more often. Who needs to hear something from you today?
We've all heard it before, growing your mind will grow your business and personal life. So why don't we do it then? We have so many excuses. I'll do it when I have time, next week, tonight...later. The truth is, we need to be doing it now. Can you put a practice in place of reading something, journaling, or listening to a podcast just 15 min a day? One thing that all successful people have in common is that they focus on growing. What's the old saying? If you're not growing, you're dying. Well we certainly don't want that.
